Village Panchayat Parcem

Parcem is a scenic and culturally rich village located in Pernem Taluka, North Goa. Known for its lush landscapes and vibrant heritage, Parcem has roots tracing back to the Maratha period and later became part of the Portuguese-era Novas Conquistas. The village is home to several ancient temples, including the revered Shree Bhagavati Temple complex, which plays a central role in the community’s religious and cultural life.

Agriculture, traditional occupations, and small-scale trade form the backbone of the local economy. The village is also known for its unity, peaceful coexistence, and commitment to preserving its natural beauty and traditions. Governed by the Parcem Village Panchayat, the community actively participates in local governance and development initiatives aimed at creating a cleaner, greener, and more self-reliant village.
